Dealing with negative mindset is a challenge of modern times for sure. Many of us don't realize that we have negative thoughts and even actively encourage them.
These days, everyone *loves* to be critical about anything & everything.
Such attitude inadvertently turns our minds away from focusing on what's good and beautiful about life, and towards over-emphasizing what's wrong with it, and forgetting to enjoy our time on Earth along the way.
Let me paraphrase a very famous adage:
We are what we eat and think.
We are, of course, all about promoting healthy superfoods on our website. But combining energy foods with positive thinking will deliver outstanding results to anyone seeking to improve their well-being.
So what *can* we do to contribute to a more positive mindset?
We certainly can:
Form our Social Circles wisely, i.e choose the best people to keep around us.
An ancient Oriental proverb says: "Show me your friends, and I'll tell you who you are." This is sooo true.
Action: Surround yourself with like-minded people - the ones who will inspire you and create a supportive atmosphere for you and others.
Stick to Our Values & try not to live our life as someone we are not.
In this world of media brainwashing, external peer pressure & certain expectations by others of how we should behave, it is easy to forget who we are and what we actually want.
Action: Refuse to change yourself for the sake of being "accepted" by others. Know your values, stick to them and stay exactly who you are - always.
Find & keep a Job That We Love.
We spend so much time at work, and nothing can be worse than a depressing job. You don't have to stay where you are - there is ALWAYS a choice and some better options if your work brings you down.
Action. Find a job that you'll love - the one that offers an utterly positive confidence-building working environment. Or, create your own job via self-employment - take a leap & surprise yourself with endless possibilities of defining your own destiny.
Limit TV time. Instead, try to watch as many inspiring programmes as we can.
There is a lot of negativity coming out of TV, especially from news programmes. The only real way to escape it is to limit TV time as much as possible.
Action. Narrow your TV time to watching mostly uplifting programmes such as comedy shows or sports events.
Eat Brain Foods to supply this vital organ regularly with all the healthy nutrition it needs.
Any serious chemical imbalances present in the brain may surely lead to mental negativity. There are many whole foods which have been proven countless times to nourish the brain & central nervous system.
The most obvious foods to start from are healthy oils, ex. hemp seed oil & avocado oil.
Action. Make a decision to feed your brain routinely with good nutrition. Choose the ones you prefer and stick to them for a certain period of time. Alternate them with any other foods of your choice. For your convenience, we offer a selection of energy foods on our home page here.
Changing our attitudes = from -negative to +positive = is a major step towards:
• re-energising the body,
• re-vitalizing the mind, &
• making our lives happier and more fulfilling.
Open your mind and see life in new colours.
Open your heart and take a leap forward without looking back.
